<br />. <br /> <br />\...f <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 6483 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE HIRE OF STEVEN MAKI TO THE <br />POSITION OF PART-TIME, TEMPORARY BUILDING INSPECTOR WITHIN THE <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View City Council has given direction to advertise for <br />the position of part-time temporary building inspector within the Community <br />Development Department; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the position was posted and the City received twenty applications; <br /> <br />and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Steven Maki possesses the necessary background, training and <br />skills to perform the duties assigned to this temporary, part-time position; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Maki shall be compensated at the rate of $14.00 per hour not to <br />exceed 40 hours per pay period; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Maki's employment shall begin on or after April 4, 2005 and <br />shall terminate no later than six months after his date of hire. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council <br />does hereby approve the hire of Steven Maki to the part-time, temporary position of <br />building inspector within the Community Development Department, subject to <br />satisfactory background checks. <br /> <br />Adopted this 28th day of March, 2005. <br /> <br />g~~ <br /> <br />Rob PV1arty, Mayor',",,-, <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br />/&L6 <br /> <br />Kurt Ulrich, City Administrator <br /> <br />.
