<br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 6492 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on May 24, 2004 the City Council authorized the preparation <br />of a preliminary feasibility report for the Spring Creek Regional Water quality <br />Pond Project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a "DRAFT' version of the feasibility report has been <br />completed and is submitted to the City Council for review; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the draft report contains four (4) options for constructing said <br />regional water quality pond; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Option 4 appears to be more agreeable to the property <br />owners; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, to finalize the report, cost estimates should be developed for <br />land acquisition; and <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a total of six (6) quotes were solicited and three (3) quotes <br />received for this project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the low quote was received from Nagell Appraisal in the <br />amount of $900.00; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, funds for the appraisal would be derived from the City's <br />Storm Water Utility Fund (Account No. 245-4415-7050-065); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Staff is also recommending that several copies of this "draff' <br />report be forwarded to both the Rice Creek Watershed District and the <br />Watersheds consulting engineer. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br /> <br />1. That the quote received from Nagell Appraisal in the amount of <br />$900.00 for land appraisal work associated with the Spring Creek <br />Regional Water Quality Pond Project is the lowest responsive <br />quote. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />That a contract to perform said work is awarded to Nagell Appraisal <br />and that the Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized <br />and directed to enter into a contract with Nagell Appraisal. <br /> <br />. <br />
