<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 6493 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />APPOINTING BOB NELSON TO THE POSITION OF <br />SERGEANT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The Mounds View City Council has approved the conversion of one <br />Patrol Officer Position to a Sergeant Position on the Police Department, and; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View Police Civil Service Commission has a current <br />eligibility list for Police Sergeant candidates and has certified the top three candidates. <br />The top candidate is Bob Nelson, and; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Chief of Police has met with Mr. Nelson and recommends he be <br />appointed to the position of Police Sergeant. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council <br />does hereby appoint Bob Nelson to the position of Police Sergeant, effective May 1, <br />2005 at the step 3 rate of pay as stipulated in the Sergeants Labor Contract for the <br />position, with progression to step 4 after 6 months, and step 5 after 18 months from his <br />appointment date. <br /> <br />Adopted this 11 th day of April 2005. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />..'l-'lfi&. <br /> <br />Rot/Marty, Mayor <br /> <br />~'6~ <br /> <br />Kurt Ulrich <br />City Clerk/Administrator <br /> <br />(SEAL) <br />
