RESOLUTION NO. 8148 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> Resolution Establishing Public Meeting Dates for the Proposed General Fund <br /> Budget and Property Tax Levy for Fiscal Year 2014 <br /> WHEREAS,the City is required to hold a truth in taxation meeting under the truth in <br /> taxation laws, as part of the budget process to adopt its final General Fund Budget and <br /> Property Tax Levy for fiscal year 2014; and, <br /> WHEREAS,the City Council would like to provide an opportunity for public comment <br /> at a meeting on the 2014 General Fund Budget and Property Tax Levy; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council must select dates for an initial meeting and a <br /> continuation meeting; and <br /> WHEREAS, certification of the meeting dates to the Ramsey County Auditor must <br /> occur on or before September 15. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Mounds <br /> View that the initial Truth in Taxation meeting will be held on Monday, November 25, 2013 <br /> at 6:00 p.m. at the Mounds View City Hall. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the continuation Truth in Taxation meeting, if <br /> needed, will be held as part of the regular City Council meeting on Monday, December 9, <br /> 2013 at 7:00 p.m. at the Mounds View City Hall. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the adoption of the final General Fund Budget <br /> and Property Tax Levy for fiscal year 2014 may occur as part of the regular City Council <br /> meeting on Monday, December 9, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. at the Mounds View City Hall. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Finance Director shall certify these dates to <br /> the Ramsey County Auditor. <br /> Adopted this 9th Day of September 2013. <br /> e Flahert , - • <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Jouyyv-e4 <br /> James Ericson, City Administrator <br /> (SEAL) <br />
