RESOLUTION 8153 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A DONATION FROM BETHLEHEM BAPTIST CHURCH <br /> IN THE AMOUNT OF $17,926 AND AUTHORIZING DISTRIBUTION OF FUNDS <br /> WHEREAS, Since its establishment in Mounds View in 2004, Bethlehem Baptist <br /> Church has generously supported activities that have benefited the residents of Mounds <br /> View; and <br /> WHEREAS, Bethlehem Baptist Church would like to continue that support by <br /> making a contribution to the City of Mounds View of $17,926 to support the following <br /> programs and activities: <br /> • Active Adults Program Equipment $2,073.00 <br /> • Pickle ball Tournament Set (X2) $ 458.00 <br /> • Ping Pong Table (X2) $ 799.90 <br /> • Dumbbell Rack $ 83.99 <br /> • Senior Movie Supplies $ 223.00 <br /> • Community Support Center for Homelessness Prevention $4,000.00 <br /> • Rubber Flooring at Groveland Park(partial amount) $1,528.61 <br /> • Furniture Replacement at Random Park $3,000.00 <br /> • Picnic Amenities at various parks $1,500.00 <br /> • 3 Replacement First Aid Equipment bags for Squad Cars $ 600.00 <br /> • 3 Oxygen Regulators $ 360.00 <br /> • 24 Traffic Cones $ 312.00 <br /> • Economic Development Activity $2,987.50 <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mounds View City Council <br /> gratefully acknowledges and accepts the donation of $17,926 from Bethlehem Baptist <br /> Church, authorizes the distribution of the funds as directed herein, and approves the <br /> amendment of the 2013 Budget as may be necessary. <br /> Adopted this 23rd day of September, 2013 <br /> ,Aoe Flaherty,Mayo <br /> ATTEST: _ <br /> James Ericson, City Administrator <br /> (seal) <br />
