<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 6409 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />AWARDING THE CONTRACT FOR THE TREE INVENTORY PROGRAM. <br /> <br />WHEREAS. the City of Mounds View has been offered a Tree Inventory <br />Grant contract in tile alllount of 55,000 with the State of Minnesota; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, On October 13, 2003 tile City Council approve resolution No. <br />6115 authorizing the execution of the State of Minnesota Agreclment for il Tree <br />Inventory,' Datab3se Grant; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS. a tree inventory of public land will provide a solid basis for <br />management and financial decisions; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of New Brighton has contracted with Kunde <br />Company, Incorporated to assist them in developing their tree inventory program; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Staff, as well as the City Forester, felt that there are many <br />advantages to contract with the same company that supplied the City of New <br />Brighton with their tree inventory; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City has received a letter quote from the Kunde <br />Company, Incorporated in the amount of 59,000.00; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the funds for this project have been included in the 2005 <br />Forestry Fund of the General Budgot and will be eierived from Account 100-4380- <br />3900. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />r\.10unds View. Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br /> <br />1. That the quote received from Kunde Company Incorporated in the <br />amount of 59.000.00 for work associated with the Tree Inventory <br />Program is acceptable and reasonable. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />That a contract to perform said work is awarded to Kunde Company <br />Incorporated and that the Mayor and City Administrator are hereby <br />authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Kunde <br />Company. Incorporated. <br /> <br />....... <br />
