D. OTHER INSPECTIONS / PLANNING FEES <br /> Applicants are responsible for all costs incurred associated with the filing, review and <br /> processing of development applications. Such fees are to be paid in escrow up front or upon <br /> receipt of statement from the City of Mounds View. Fees may include but are not limited to <br /> costs for consultants retained by the City, consultant planning services, attorney, and engineer <br /> fees. A deposit may also be required to cover costs of public notices, materials and staff time <br /> spent in the review, research or preparation of materials associated with this application. The <br /> applicant shall be responsible for all reasonable incurred costs in excess of the initial fee <br /> and/or deposit amount. Any portion of the deposit not spent or encumbered shall be refunded <br /> to the applicant within 30 days after consideration of the application is completed. Payment of <br /> park dedication fees is required with subdivision applications. Application fees are not <br /> refundable. <br /> Building Inspections <br /> Inspections conducted outside of normal $63.25/hr. (Minimum charge two hours) <br /> business hours <br /> Inspections for which no fee is specifically $63.25/hr. (Minimum charge - one half hour) <br /> indicated <br /> Reinspection Fees $63.25/hr. <br /> Change of Address $150 <br /> Comprehensive Plan Amendment $500 <br /> Conditional Use Permit (CUP) <br /> R-1 to R-2 $200 <br /> All other Districts $400 <br /> CUP Amendment Same as CUP Fee <br /> Contractor Licenses (See Chapter 1001) $60 (after July 31st , $40) <br /> Contractors License Verification Fee $5 per permit (See building procedures) <br /> Development/Site Plan Review $400 <br /> Housing and Fire Inspection Fees (See Chapter 1012) <br /> Initial and Follow up Inspection No charge <br /> Each Additional Inspection $63.25/inspection (approved by Resolution <br /> 7330) <br /> Interim Use Permit (IUP) $400 <br /> IUP Amendment $400 <br /> Investigation Fee Equivalent to permit fee (when work <br /> commences without an approved permit) <br /> Lead Safety Certification Verification Fee $5 <br /> Park Dedication Fee (See Ordinance 745) Up to 10% of fair market land value <br /> Plan Review Fee 65 percent of permit fee for all commercial <br /> (* Refund Policy: No plan review fee may be permits and for residential permits for new <br /> refunded after review has been completed.) dwellings, dwelling additions, garages, <br /> *Payment shall be received before plans are garage additions, decks, sheds over 216 <br /> reviewed square feet, and major remodeling. <br /> Additional Plan Review Fee required by <br /> changes, additions or revisions to plans $47/ <br /> hr.
