<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />.. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 4945 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A MUNICIPAL GOLF COURSE PETTY CASH FUND <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes Section 471.56, Subdivision 5, authorizes the Council to <br />establish a petty cash fund; <br /> <br />I <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council does hereby establish a Petty <br />Cash Fund at the Municipal Golf Course known as "The Bridges" for the purpose of paying <br />claims against the City which are impractical to pay in any other manner. Said Fund shall be <br />regulated in the following manner: <br />I <br /> <br />1) the sum of fifty dollars shall be deposited in the Fund and shall be maintained as <br />the Fund Balance; <br /> <br />I <br />2) the City Treasurer, or Treasurer's designee, shall be the custodian of the Fund; <br />I <br /> <br />~) monies shall be disbursed by the custodian only for proper claims against the City <br />which are impractical to pay in any other manner; <br />I <br /> <br />4) All such claims shall be authorized by the appropriate supervisor prior to <br />~isbursement by the custodian; <br /> <br />5) No claims shall be for salary or reimbursement of any personal expense of a City <br />officer or employee; <br /> <br />I <br />6) The custodian of the Fund shall submit a claim itemizing all the various demands for <br />which disbursements have been made from the Fund to the City Council at the next <br />meeting after the disbursements have been made along with a request for transfer of <br />monies from the appropriate funds in order to maintain the Petty Cash Fund. <br />I _ . <br /> <br />Adopt~d this 13th day of May, 1996. <br /> <br />I <br />(SEAL) <br /> <br />.~ <br />/Mayor,/ <br />, r/M{' ,.' <br />UtK'~ <br />Clerk-administrato <br />
