RESOLUTION NO. 8212 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING STAFF TO ADVERTISE TO FILL THE <br /> PART TIME POSITION OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST <br /> AND REVISE THE POSITION DESCRIPTION <br /> WHEREAS, due to a resignation, there is an immediate need to fill the position of <br /> Economic Development Specialist for the City of Mounds View; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the Economic Development Specialist plays a vital role in support of <br /> the continued growth and development of the community and the sustained redevelopment <br /> and tax base enhancements on the County Road 10 corridor; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the Economic Development Specialist serves as the link between the <br /> City and the business and corporate communities, promotes the advantages of conducting <br /> business within the community and acts as a liaison to many civic and government entities. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED,that the City Council of the City of Mounds <br /> View authorizes staff to post an announcement to fill the vacated position of Economic <br /> Development Specialist on a part time basis and approves revisions to the position <br /> description as shown on the attached Exhibit A. <br /> Adopted this 10th day of February, 2014. <br /> ' (.1.-4---- X7/414:9Z'Z' <br /> Joe Flaherty, Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> fir:() � Zfl. ,. <br /> James Ericson, City Administrator <br /> (seal) <br />
