<br />- <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 5966 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SQUAD CAR PURCHASE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View Police Department maintains a replacement <br />schedule of police vehicles, and; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View Police Department has one police vehicle that <br />currently has over 100,000 miles on it, and; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, replacement of one squad car was budgeted for 2003 at an estimated <br />cost of $22,000.00, and; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Superior Ford was awarded the state bid for the 2003 Ford Crown <br />Victoria Police Interceptor Package for 2003 at an approximate cost of $20,877.00, and; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the deadline for participating in the state bid purchase is May 1,2003. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council for the City of <br />Mounds View authorizes the purchase of one 2003 Ford Crown Victoria police vehicle <br />under the state bid at an approximate cost of $20,877.00, plus tax, registration, and any <br />license fees. <br /> <br />Adopted this 14th day of April 2003. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br />;. j c. / \.).1....(../::-, (~.~.
