<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 5975 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE INSTALLATION OF SIGNAGE PROHIBITING <br />PARKING ON THE EAST SIDE OF GREENFIELD AVENUE MONDAY THROUGH <br />SATURDAY FROM 8:00 AM THROUGH 6: 00 PM <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Mounds View has reviewed the <br />parking situation on Greenfield Avenue between County Road I and Bronson Drive in <br />response to a request from the Planning Commission and complaints from residents in <br />this area; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it has been determined that the business located at 2402 County <br />Road I consistently and regularly overflows its parking lot resulting in employees and <br />customers parking on Greenfield Avenue; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the west side of Greenfield Avenue has already been posted as No <br />Parking to control and restrict on-street parking on this block. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Mounds <br />View approves the installation of sign age to prohibit parking on the east side of Greenfield <br />Avenue south of County Road I as shown on the attached Exhibit A, Monday through <br />Saturday, 8 am - 6 pm, subject to the following: <br /> <br />1. The property owner of 2402 County Road I shall apply for and receive approval of a <br />variance to expand his parking lot within 90 days of the adoption of this resolution. <br /> <br />Adopted this 14th day of April, 2003. <br /> <br />#~ <br /> <br />ATTEST <br /> <br />'\ :,. .
