RESOLUTION NO. 8262 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> A Resolution Approving the Hire of Brandon Stenglein to the Position of <br /> Project Coordinator in the Public Works Department <br /> WHEREAS, upon direction from the Mounds View City Council, the Project <br /> Coordinator position was advertised; and <br /> WHEREAS, over twenty (20) applications were received for the position and seven <br /> (7) were chosen for interview; and <br /> WHEREAS, Mr. Brandon Stenglein's skills and experience were determined to most <br /> closely match the duties and responsibilities as outlined in the job description; and <br /> WHEREAS, Mr. Stenglein's reference checks are complete and satisfactory; and <br /> WHEREAS, Mr. Stenglein would start at Step 1 of the Pay Scale at $24.70/hour; <br /> with an increase to Step 1.5 of the salary range (currently$25.74/hour) after six months of <br /> employment; Step 2 (currently $26.24/hour) after one year of employment; Step 3 <br /> (currently$27.78/hour) after two years of employment; Step 4 (currently$29.33/hour)after <br /> three years of employment; and Step 5 (currently $30.87/hour) after four years of <br /> employment; and <br /> WHEREAS, all step wage increases are subject to a satisfactory performance <br /> evaluations; and <br /> WHEREAS, Mr. Stenglein would begin employment on or about June 10, 2014, <br /> 2014; and <br /> WHEREAS, Mr. Stenglein's employment with the City would be contingent on a <br /> satisfactory drivers license check, and satisfactory criminal background checks. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council <br /> appoints Brandon Stenglein to the position of Project Coordinator in the Public Works <br /> Department with employment to commence on or about June 10, 2014. <br /> BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the City Council does hereby approve the hire of <br /> Brandon Stenglein to the full-time, non-union position of Public Works Project Coordinator <br /> at Step 1 of the pay scale (currently $24.70/hour), contingent on a satisfactory criminal <br /> background check. <br />
