<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 6024 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />ST ATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />~SOLUTION AUTHORIZING SUPPORT OF THE MOUNDS VIEW COMMUNITY <br />llHEATRE CONSISTENT WITH THE POLICY FOR THE SUPPORT OF ARTISTIC <br />ORGANIZATIONS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on May 27, 2003, the City Council adopted a policy for the support of artistic <br />organization consistent with MN Statutes 471.941; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, to receive support, the artistic organization shall submit a letter describing (1) <br />theiorganization sufficient to establish that it is within the definition of an artistic organization as set <br />forth in 471.941 and (2) the type of support requested; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on May 30, 2003, the City received a request from the Mounds View <br />Community Theatre artistic organization to utilize the City's copier; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, consistent with the Policy, the Interim City Administrator reviewed the request <br />and determined it complied with said Policy. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Mounds View, <br />consistent with the adopted Policy for the support of artistic organizations, approves the request for <br />support from the Mounds View Community Theater as follows: <br /> <br />Use of the City's copy machine, subject the following limitations: <br /> <br />1. The nwnber of "impressions" shall be limited to 6,000 or less <br />2. City use of copier shall take priority <br />3. City staff will not operate copier on behalf of MVCT <br />4. MVCT shall provide their own paper and any necessary office supplies <br />5.
