<br />RESOLUTION 6028 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ADDITION OF A FAX OPTION <br />TO POLICE DEPARTMENT COPIER <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View Police Department acquired a new copier in June 2003; <br /> <br />and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it was later discover that the new copier had the capability to be <br />programmed to operate as a fax machine; and, <br /> <br />\VHEREAS, the existing fax machine in the police department is 6 years old and has <br />been in need of significant maintenance and repair over the past two years, and is currently <br />broken; and, <br /> <br />\VHEREAS, for $20.41 per month the fax option, along with all necessary and ongoing <br />maintenance and supplies, can be added to the new copier lease agreement for a 60-month term; <br />and, <br /> <br />. WHEREAS, the additional cost of $20.41 per month added to the current lease <br />agreement will save the police department money, based on the past two years maintenance and <br />repair history for the current fax machine; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, incorporating a fax feature into the current new copier will eliminate one <br />piece of equipment and free up space in the records/copier room. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council does <br />hereby authorize staff to amend the current lease agreement for the newly obtained copier to include <br />the addition and ongoing maintenance for adding fax capabi lities, at a cost of$20.41 per month for a <br />60-month term. <br /> <br />Adopted this 9th day of June, 2003. <br /> <br /> <br />ATTEST <br /> <br />.__) C,- \; "r\--t/') tA<-~--t->y'--- <br />James Ericson, Interim City Administrator <br /> <br />(SEAL) <br /> <br />. <br />
