<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 6046 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />AUTHORIZATION TO ADVERTISE FOR THE VACANT COMMUNITY SERVICE <br />OFFICER POSITION IN THE POLICE DEPARTMENT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there is currently a vacant position in the Police Department, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The Mounds View Police Civil Service Commission has authorized <br />the Police Department to seek council approval to advertise to hire the vacant <br />Community Service Officer position; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council recognizes the importance of the Community <br />Service Officer functions performed in the City and desires to fill the vacancy created by <br />the reassignment of the former Community Service Officer; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the job description for the position will be reviewed to establish an <br />appropriate salary range with such range requiring subsequent Council approval. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council <br />does hereby authorize the Police Department to advertise for the vacant Community <br />Service Officer position. <br /> <br />Adopted this 14th day of July 2003. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />~~ <br /> <br />0o.,..'Y1'~ u..-u~!1-- <br />James Ericson, City Administrator <br /> <br />(SEAL) <br />
