<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 6055 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIE\V <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING REINSTATEMENT OF 31.93 FORFEITED VACATION <br />HOURS TO JIM ERICSON, INTERIM CITY ADMINISTRATOR <br /> <br />\VHEREAS, The Mounds View Personnel Manual states that employees may carry-over <br />at the end of each year the amount of vacation time accrued in that year plus an additional two <br />weeks of time; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at the end of2002, Jim Ericson had accrued a balance of231.93 vacation <br />hours, 31.93 hour more than what is allowed to be carried over into 2003; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, exceptions have been made to this policy under extenuating and mitigating <br />circumstances, such as scheduling conflicts and personnel vacancies which would leave the <br />department less able to meet its service obligations; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, vacation time which had been planned by Mr. Ericson was cancelled as a <br />result of an unplam1ed department resignation and the resignations of two of the City's <br />management staff. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, THAT the Mounds View City Council <br />does hereby approve the reinstatement of 31.93 hours of forfeited vacation time to Jim Ericson, <br />Interim City Administrator. <br /> <br />Adopted this 23rd day of June 2003. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br /> <br />,J{1nv:A <(Au~>'t\.J <br />James Ericson, Interim City Clerk/Administrator <br /> <br />(SEAL) <br />
