CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW 0 <br /> OFFICE OF THE MAYOR <br /> - PROCLAMATION- <br /> CONSTITUTION WEE. <br /> WHEREAS, September 17, 2014, marks the two hundred twenty-seventh anniverscuy of the. <br /> drafting of the Constitution of the United States of America by the Constitutional Cor entioiv <br /> and, <br /> WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper to accord official recognition to;this Magnificent <br /> document and its memorable anniversary and to the patriotic celebrations which will <br /> commemorate the occasion; and, <br /> WHEREAS, Public Law 915 guarantees the issuing of a proclamation each year by the <br /> President of the United States ofAmerica designating September 17th through Sep ber 3" <br /> as Constitution Week. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; it is with great pleasure and honor that I, Joe Flaherty, . or of <br /> the City of Mounds View, Minnesota, do hereby proclaim the week of September 17th t0.;rough' <br /> September 23rd as: <br /> "CONSTITUTION WEEK" <br /> and ask our citizens to reaffirm the ideals of the Framers of the constitution had in 1787 by <br /> vigilantly protecting the freedoms guaranteed to us through the guardian of our, liberties, <br /> remembering that lost rights may never be regained. <br /> Given under my hand and Seal of the City of Mounds View, this 11th day of August, 2014, <br /> oe Flaherty, May <br /> (seal) , <br />
