<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 6068 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIE\V <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A NON-PAID INTERSHIP IN THE POLICE <br />DEPARTMENT TO RIBBING COMMUNITY COLLEGE STUDENT JEREMY <br />SEAGREN <br /> <br />WHEREAS, law enforcement students are required to complete internships with law <br />enforcement agencies, and; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Police Department was contacted by a Hibbing Community College law <br />enforcement student- Jeremy Seagren, requesting a non paid internship with the Mounds View <br />Police Department, and; <br /> <br />\VHEREAS, the intern would be utilized to assist staff with projects and do some ride a <br />longs with Officers, and; <br /> <br />\VHEREAS, having a non-paid intern available to the Police Department would be of <br />benefit to both the city of Mounds View and the student receiving the internship, and; <br /> <br />\VHERAS, the intern would not receive any payment for the hours of his work, but <br />would be covered by workers compensation insurance, and: <br /> <br />NOW, THJ~REFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council does <br />hereby authorize staff to grant a non-paid student internship to Jeremy Seagren for the summer of <br />2003. <br /> <br />Adopted this 2Sh day of July 2003. <br /> <br />ATTEST <br /> <br /> <br />6lS1 <br /> <br />/_~\ <br />~/~L <br />~..
