<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 6076 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION GRANTING THE IRON DALE HIGH SCHOOL BAND BOOSTERS A <br />ONE DAY PERMIT TO CONDUCT CHARITABLE GAMBLING AT THE MERMAID; <br />MOUNDS VIEW, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the lrondale High School Band Boosters has requested that the <br />Council allow them to conduct charitable gambling at The Mermaid on November 7,2003; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Gambling Control Board requires that the local unit of government <br />(city or county) pass a resolution specifically approving or denying requests to conduct <br />charitable gambling: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Irondale High School Band Boosters is in compliance with all <br />requirements of the Mounds View Municipal Code with regard to charitable gambling <br />regulations; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City of Mounds View to assist in the economic <br />prosperity of local business owners. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council does <br />hereby authorize the lrondale High School Band Boosters to conduct charitable gambling <br />at The Mermaid. <br /> <br />Adopted this 25th day of August, 2003. <br /> <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />~{?, c, IdL--- <br /> <br />Kurt Ulrich, City Administrator <br /> <br />(SEAL) <br />
