<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 6079 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />AUTHORIZATION TO ADVERTISE FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS <br />MAINTENANCE WORKER POSITION IN THE STREETS DIVISION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on August 13, 2003 Gary Kardell, in the Streets <br />Division of the Public Works Department, submitted a letter of resignation; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, since 1992 the Streets Division has been comprised of <br />three full-time individuals, one of which was assigned to surface water <br />management; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, with the resignation of Mr. Kardell, the Streets Division <br />will consist of only one full-time; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, one full-time employee is not adequate to effectively <br />operate the Streets Division and maintain 43 miles of streets under City <br />jurisdiction. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, THAT the Mounds View <br />City Council does hereby grant authorization to advertise for the Public Works <br />Maintenance Worker position in the Streets Division. <br /> <br />Adopted this 25th day of August 2003. <br /> <br />(ATTEST) <br /> <br />~- <br />/~ 6, 6-9- <br /> <br />Kurt Ulrich <br />City Administrator <br /> <br />(SEAL) <br />
