<br />RESOLUTION NO. 6080 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Resolution 6080 Authorizing the Acceptance of a Grant and the Purchase of <br />Equipment for the Spring Lake Park/Blaine/Mounds View Fire Department and <br />Amending the 2003 General Fund Budget <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Federal and State Grants are available to purchase first responder <br />equipment for the Fire Department; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Ramsey County is the local administrator and wishes to designate the <br />City of Mounds View and the recipient of the grant; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Fire Department has identified two pieces of equipment costing <br />$12,750; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, purchase of the equipment will be recorded as additional capital outlay <br />expenditure in the Fire Department budget with an offsetting increase in Inter-governmental <br />revenues in the 2003 budget; and <br /> <br />. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Mounds <br />View authorizes the Fire Department to apply to Ramsey County for first responder grants <br />and to order the associated equipment. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor is authorized to sign any necessary <br />grant documents and documents to convey final ownership of the equipment to the Fire <br />Department. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the 2003 General Fund Budget is amended to <br />increase capital outlay in the Fire Department by $12,750 and Intergovernmental <br />Revenues by $12,750. <br /> <br />Adopted this 25th Day of August 2003. <br /> <br />(A TTEST) <br /> <br /> <br />J ;~~ ~'0 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Kurt Ulrich <br />City Administrator <br /> <br />(SEAL) <br />
