<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 6087 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />APPROVING A SEASONAL PUBLIC WORKS POSITION IN THE SEWER DIVISION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Resolution No. 5546 requires that seasonal positions must be <br />approved by the Mounds View City Council; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Seasonal Employees benefit the City by providing labor services <br />that are relatively less expensive and are available during periods of greater labor; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View Public Works Department a does have a <br />need to hire seasonal employees; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Public Works Department is recommending that seasonal <br />position be approved for an estimated three periods not to extend past December 31, <br />2003; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Charter, Section 7.08 gives the City Council authority to <br />amend the budget by resolution. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br /> <br />1. A Seasonal Public Works Positions in the Sewer Division is approved - <br />This position would start on September 10, 2003 and terminate on a date <br />no later than December 31,2003. <br /> <br />2. This Seasonal Public Works Position will be filled by Jeffery Lundgren, a <br />returning seasonal workers with experience using the Vactor and <br />televising trailer. <br /> <br />3. Mr. Lundgren will be compensated at fate of $10.50/hr. and will work forty <br />(40) hours per week. <br /> <br />4. The funds for this position will be derived from the wastewater account in <br />the Enterprise Fund. <br /> <br />5. The Enterprise Fund of the 2003 Budget is amended to increase <br />appropriations by $4,620.00 for the wages of the Seasonal Public Works <br />Position. <br />
