MEP10 TO: Park Commissioners
FROM: Staff
DATB: February 22, 1978
RE: Pir. New[on's Fence
After mee[ing with Mr. Newton concerning the feasibility of constructing
a fence along the northem edge of the park, he s[ated [he following:
1. There have been no major problems to date concerning the park
property.
2. He would like [o see a fence construc[ed from Che backs[op to the
vest end of his garden.
3. Thia would 6e approxima[ely 100' in length.
4. The fence should be 6' Sn heigh[.
The coat including installat;on of a 4' fence foz 100' is approximately
$400.00 and the cost for 100' of 6' fence is $550.00.
Staff would recommend that a 4' fence be constructed from the backstop
to the west end of his garden. Staff feels that a 4' fence would serve
the same purpose and not de[rac[ from the visual sense of the park.

✓
J
