MEMO TO: Parks & Recreation Commissioners <br />FROM: Staff <br />DATE: March 29, 1978 <br />RE: Tournamen[ and field rental policy <br />S[aff zeceived a nimber of requeats at the softball managera meeting <br />concerning [he use of [he two fields at City Hall Park for running <br />weekand softball [ournamen[s. <br />The biggeet concern raised by [he teams was that without a beer concesaion <br />permit it is no[ feasible to run a weekend tournament. <br />A[tached you will fiad a iirat draf[ of a Touznament and Field Rental <br />Policy for your review. <br />The major madificationa that have been made include the following: <br />1. Allowing 3.2 beer permits to be issued at Civic Center Park et <br />a coet of $50.00/tournament. <br />2. Teama may sponeor two tournaments each year. <br />3. The fee structure has been increased. A 16 team tournament would <br />cos[ approuima[ely $164.00 broken dovn as follows: <br />a. Beer permie $50.00 <br />� ��� b. Food pexmi[ 25.00 <br />c. Clean up Fee 25.00 <br />d.
