I�MO T0: Parks S Recreaiion Commissioners <br />PROM: S[aff <br />DATH: March 29, 1978 <br />RE: Ballfield Problem at NSllview (Visiroi Presentaiion) <br />Approximately 2 weeks ago Darlene Martin, 7951 Greenwood Aoad s[opped <br />in our office to see wha[ could be done about baseballs being hi[ into <br />her backyard. Ms. Mar[in's house would be direc[ly nor[h of the lef[ <br />field fence line at Rillview Park. The distance from home pla[e to <br />lef[ field is 270'. <br />Apparently this is not a new Froblem but rather one that the Martin <br />family has lived with over the past yeare. The problem usually occura <br />vith the older children who come down to play pick up ball and no[ the <br />organlzed Mowde Viev Athle[ic Association league play. <br />I have invired Darlene ro speak before the Commiasion on Thursday <br />(see at[ached letter) so tha[ she migh[ be able to relate the problem <br />directly. <br />Ms. Hartin's original requesi was [o ine[all a higher fence of wt�ich <br />they wuld be willing to pay aome of the cos[. <br />Staff doea not have a formal reco�enda[ion a[ thie ti�. <br />
