Tree Con[ract Approved - The Tree Contract tor the xemoval of <br />diseased treea Fas been awarded [o J. B.'s Tree Aemoval Setvices <br />for the period of March 15, 1978 to March 15, 1979. A copy of <br />the signed contrac[ is available for your review in the March <br />reeource file. <br />2. Trac[or bid awarded - The Ci[y Council awarded the low bid of <br />$5,940.00 [o Toro Inc. for [he purchase of a fron[ moun[ed <br />ro[ary mower and trailer. S[aff has ordered [he equipment and <br />expecta delivery in early April. <br />3. Spring Sign up - Regis[ra[ion for Spring programs was conducted <br />on two tonsecu[ive Sa[urdays, March 18 and 25 as well as during <br />normal buainess hours. Regis[ra[ion a[ [his point has been <br />excellent in the awi�ing, [ennis and golt areas. The athle[ic <br />leagues regie[ration is down, bu[ etaff will be making preaenta- <br />tio¢s the second week of April at each elementary and aecondary <br />echool. <br />4. S�er Timeline - S[aff fias been busy interviewing and reviewing <br />su�er playgro�md applica[iona during the past month. At thie <br />time all s�er contracts have been mailed out and we are awaiting <br />[heir xeturn. <br />Our basic su�r staff will conaist of abou[ 12 par[-time employees <br />excluding our svimming program. <br />5. Lakeside Park Co�iseion - S[aff has met vith Rameey Coun[y Parka <br />and Recreation Depar[ment concerning the po[entiel of deeding the <br />park over [o them.
