The first ia from the Moimda View <br />Jaycees who have donated $200.00 for the purchase of trees at Ardan Park. <br />The Jayceea have "adopted" Ardan Park as the site they would lilce to develop <br />over the next few years. <br />Staff has included a copy o£ the proposal [hat was submitted to the <br />Jayceea for their reviea in the April Resource file. It should be noted <br />that the $200.00 donation from the Saycees came from a grant proposal <br />from the national Jaycees and the money was "ear-marked" for conservation <br />or tree replacement. <br />The City also received a$100.00 donation from the Snowmobile Club during <br />the past month and the City Council has requested that we make a recommenda- <br />tion as to how it should be spen[. <br />After reviewing our existing needs for parks and recreation equipment, <br />Staff c.rould reco�end that the donation be used to purchase two picnic kits. <br />The picnic kita would be available to area residenta for use at family picnice, <br />seuniona, neighborhoad get-togethers, etc. <br />A breakdow of the necessary equipment and coets would be as followe: <br />1. 1Wo equipment bags @$15.00 $30.00 <br />2. 2 Croquet sets @$20.00 40.00 <br />3. 2 s¢t; nf rubber horseshoes @$10.00 20.00 <br />4. 20 gunr.y sacks @loF 2.00 <br />5. 2 wiffle footballs @$2.50 5.00 <br />6. 2 viffle eoftball sets @$1.50 3.00 <br />TOTAL $100.00 <br />In addition Co the aforementioned equipment we would add carpet aquarea for <br />baees, a eoftball bat, floor hockey equipment and frisbeea. <br />
