Grants <br />S[aff fias submi[ted three C.S.T.A. grant proposals foz [emporary staffing <br />during [he coming year. The [hree proposala and a brief narrative are as <br />followa: <br />1. Su�er Park Laborers - The grant submit[ed [hrough the S�r <br />Youth Employmen[ Progzam for four su�er park main[enance men. <br />T6e grant would run from June 5- August 11 and include a 40 houx <br />work week at $2.65/hour. The gran[ was prepared in conjunction <br />with tLe public works depar[ment who applaed for four men also. <br />--� The main responsibili[ies of [he laborers would be moving, field <br />prepatation, rot lo[ cons[ruction and weed control. <br />2. Su�er Clerical Assistance - This grant was submitted [hrou�fi the <br />Su�er Youth Employment Progran and we zequested one high school <br />student [o assist Pat during the peak s�wmer months. The period <br />inwlved would be .lune 5- August 11. <br />3. Neighborhood Leisure Co�mcils - This grant proposal was submi[ted <br />to Ramsey County C.E.T.A. through Title VI. The t�^_al requeet <br />including salaries, suppliea and benefits was $37,7_�.60. The <br />grant would funri tfie Mring o£ three full-time com�nunity organizers <br />who would be responaible £or the establishment of 6 neighborfiood <br />counc3ls. <br />Staff expects to be notified during the next rm�nth concerning the statua of <br />the grant proposals. <br />A complete copy of each grant proposal can be found in the April Reaource file. <br />
