The Moga proper[y is ]ncaced on Old pighway 8 alcng itiw <br />Creek. <br />One of the ques[ions [hat the Coun*_y has asked us, is the his[orical <br />significance of [he ac[ual bulldings. Accoxding m oui research che <br />buildings �re the oldes[ homes[ead in [Le Ci[y of Mounds View, buc they <br />are not architecturally special. <br />The Co�ty c�ill be recommending [ha[ [he buildings be destroyed unless chey <br />here o[herwise. If you have any feelSngs wncerning the res[oration of the <br />buildings at the Moga proper[y, feel free co con[ac[ our office. <br />Lakeside Park - A'he Lakeside Park program will run similar co pas[ years, <br />�mder the direction of [he Lakeside Park Commission. StafF has been working <br />with Councilmember Rowley co improve [he upcoming swimming program which will <br />be three sessions -[hree weeks in leng[h in 1978. <br />We aze very fortuna[e [o have Park Commi.ssioner Linke [o serve on bo[h the <br />City Park and Lakeside Park Commissions. <br />Office Reloca[ion - S[aff has moved [heir offices m[he basemen[ of City <br />Hall (we prefer [o call i[ [he firs[ floor). The move has proved [o be a <br />great asset on developing s[aff co�unica[ion as well es a vas[ improvemen[ <br />over past office accoowodations, <br />Soin[ Coumwnity Educa[ion Conference - I will be attending a confecence on <br />May 3 and 4 at [he Thunderbird No[el concerning fu[ure coopeca[ion be[ween <br />communi[y educa[ion and municipal recrea[ion. I will he preparing a report <br />for the May Park Co�.ission meeeing [o bring you up-to-date on [he conference <br />highligh[s. <br />Hd¢ewood Jr. High - I have enclosed a proposal [hat will be preaenced to <br />Sthool Board 0621 mambers nex[ week. As can be no[ed in [he attached proposal <br />the Ci[y's share in fu[ure years is as follows: <br />1978 - 0 <br />1979 -$25,000 (This is anticipa[ed m be funded hy a State grant) <br />1980 - 55,000 <br />1981 - $6,000 <br />
