Each of <br />the Parka aad Recreation Direc[oca s[a[ed that [hey have an informal policy <br />that [hey will not replace a priva[e fence because of [he preceden[ tha[ St <br />would se[. <br />They did s[ate that they would attemp[ to elimina[e the problem at hand to <br />preven[ further occurrences by an alterna[ive means. <br />The City of Maplec�ood has buil[ fences bordering park property at [he <br />requee[ of privare reeidents because of noise and vandalism probleme. <br />It should be noted in the Maplewood situa[iona, [heir main ronsidera[ion <br />was as [o whether the fence would improve [he existing park environmen[. <br />Loca[1on of Pence - I have at[ached a copy of [he Ci[y fencing ordinance <br />outlining [he existing code requirements.
