GreenHeld Paik <br />2. Groveland Park <br />3. Hillvlew Park <br />L, 1,ambert Park <br />5. W�o,od�cr�espt Park <br />Each of the�� s�}el er buildings (except Groveland) :s a wooden struc[ure <br />approsimacely 12' r. 20' in varying states of repalr. The fiFth building <br />at Grovelaad Park ia an obsolete S[ar and Tribime Paper shack building <br />made of inetal and is approrzi.vately 8' x 20'. <br />The buildings are presen[ly used ae winter akating ahelcers during 12 wee&a <br />of [he year and left vacant for [he remaining 40 veeks. The one exception <br />ia Gzeenfield Park which is used during the aajori[y of the year as a storage <br />building for fertilizer and marking compound. <br />The buildings as stated are in varying eta[es of dis-repa._- but they have <br />served Cheir f�mc[ion as win[er ska[ing ehelters during che past. <br />Staff would propose [he followivg modiHca[ions, improvements and timelines <br />be adop[ed by the Parks and Recreation Co�isaion: <br />1. The .our wooden huildings should be re-furbiahed during the summer <br />of 197& by the four City's C.E.T.A. employeea including: <br />a. Repaint in[erior and exterior of each bullding ueing earth <br />tones and supergraphica to enhance Che1r vieual appearance. <br />b. All interior benchea ehould be rebull[ and replaced ae needed <br />including bins for ska[ers ahoes and personal equipment. <br />c. :Jew locke, haepe, doorknobs and other hardware items ehould be <br />rebuilt or replaced as required. <br />
