October 22, 1979 <br />Dear Parks and Recreation Comnissioners: <br />Enclosed is your packet of information for the Thursday, October 25, 1979, <br />Parks and Recreation Comnissian meeting. The meeting is scheduled for <br />6:30 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers. The two major issues we o+i71 <br />be discussing on Thursddy will Snclude an update of the Silver View Park <br />acquisition and development status and the Coiryrehensive Parks and Open <br />Space update. <br />In relationship to Silver View, we witl be discussing the memo that was <br />mailed to each of the Park Comnissioners on October 2, 1979. Although there <br />is no new information on this issue, piease bring your October 2 memo atong, <br />as Staff wi11 be reviewing it and looking for the Park Commission to take a <br />formal position as to where the park should be located. <br />In additfon, SWff hopes to Aave three planning fir� making presentations <br />to the Park Commission on what types of staffing, references, and pianning <br />philosophies their fir� e�loy. I have also included a variety of materials <br />for your own personal edlfication as well as a copy of the updated park usage <br />palicy. <br />If you have ar�y questions regarding the e�closed agenda or support material, <br />feel free to give me a call at 784-3055, ext.
