_�_ <br />MSV (Haake/Silvis) that the Mounds View Parks and Recreation <br />Commission recommends that the Mounds View City Council ask <br />coimnent and review from the Mounds View Planning Commission �.. <br />and to direct the City staff to begin negotiations with Kraus- � <br />Anderson to exchange or swap the City's 16.9 acres of park <br />l.��d in the southwest corner of the Minar/Kraus-Anderson/Engelsma <br />pr�,perty for 16.9 acres located in approximately the northwest <br />corner of said property in addition to two more park land <br />acquisitions to be immediately adjacent to the northwest corner <br />as follows: <br />(1) 10% land dedication through the Park and �iecreation Fund <br />at the time of subdivision. � <br />(2) Purchase as many acres as possible with the §736,800 LAWCON <br />Grant. If said acquisition cannot be consumated, tNen we <br />recomnend the first and second edition as stated above be <br />applied to the southwest corner as originally planned. <br />We also recomnend that whichever site is chosen, that the City <br />acquire trail corridor,easements through the entire Minar/, <br />Kraus-Anderson/Engelsma property for access to Silver View Park <br />from County �ROad H-2, County Road I, Silver Lake Road and <br />Long La�ce Road, plus an 8-foot easement be provided by Kra�s- <br />Anderson around the proposed Oak Lake.
