Private, exclusive use af ball fields, hockey rinks, skating rinks, park buildings, concession stands. City Manager must approve application for license. Application must be submitted at least 10 days in advance. FEES Park Usage Fee -$50/day batl fields, (i.e. tournaments), hockey rinks, and skating rink. $25/day for civic organizations (non-profit organ5zations) $25/day for concession buildings - shelter buildings (when used in conjunction with a special event. $75 Special Event Fee - Processing fee, charge it for groups of 100 peopte or more when they apply for a special event license, so police can cbeck out the organization. $25 Maintenance service fee (for activity with 100 or more people). Maintenance person drags fields in morning> stays at event all day emptying garbage cans, etc. $100 deposit (refundable fee) Area used must be CLEAN when event is finished. Any city equipment used must be returned, undama� $10/hour deposit (refundable fee) for lights (for lighted fields) They meter the tights on Friday before the event and again on hbnday morning. They deduct the �� fee for the lights from the $100 deposit and refund the group the rest. . E50 Special Event Beer License - Must apply 30 days in advance because Gity Council must approve the license. � No charge to reserve ba11 fields for baseball, softbalt teams for practice. � Blaine residen4y requirement (To reserve ballfields, shetters). The reservation �� must be made in the name of a Blaine resident. Everyone in the group doesn't have to be a Blaine resident, but one member of the group must be a B7aine resident so the reservatian can be made in his/her name. Permit - if specifically asked for, they'll send one out, they just keep the �� reservations on a master cbart. Pecreation Director tries to schedule a practice time for each team for youth baseball teams. A specific day and time each week (same day, same tSme, same field each week) If this scheduled da�y/time causes problems for any team, the coach calis the Director and the practice time is changed (this rarely happens).
