Local Comprehensive Plan Handbook - Enclosed is a copy of the Local Comprehzn5ive Plan Handbook orepared by the P'ztropoiitan Council Parks anC Opzn Space Division in -0ecember of 1978. The docu^�ent outlines the need for providing a CompreFensive Parks and 0?en Space Plan w�thin each municipality that is contiguous tiaith the originat park system. Tha rajor reason for this paper was to assist local rzcr°ation dapart�znts in the development of the recreation planning sectior. rrith th� cosprenen;ive plan update. I have enclosed a copy of this reaort as background information for tFe Compreh�nsive Parks and Op=n Space Plan for Nounds 'liew. � 2. 7980 L.A.W.C.O.N. Grant - Enciosed is a copy oi tne project agreement for the 1980 Phase I Development of Silver Viaw Park. As can be noted, the total development cost is 5105,100. The City's share for r.:atching fun6s. vwill be 52u,275 trtith the remainder being paid by Lhe state and federal agencies.
