WITNESSETH: WHEREAS, the Schooi District owns and operates Edgewood Junior High, the premises of which include certain outside facilities, sald school sites Aelinatcd in red on the map attached hereto and made a part hereof as Exhibit A, and WHEREAS. it is the mutual desire of the School District and the City to toop- erate for the purposes of per+nitting said outside facilities to be used for the edu- cation and recreation activity programs of the School District and the City. and WHEREAS. the School District and the City desires to up9rade and maintain the Edyewood �unior High' outside facilities to permit uYilization. not only by the pupils of the School District, but also by the citizens of the School District and of the City. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that in consideration of the foregoing rect- tals and mutual covenants and promises herein set forth. it is hereby agreed by and between the School District and the City as follows: , 1. INSTALLATION, UPGRADING. MRINTENANCE AND REPAIR ' The City agrees to participate in the maintenance and develoqnent of Lhe outside facilities at Edge►+ood Junior H1gh. The City's contributions wSll consist of 1n-kind services (1.e.. grading. engineering, ma+ing. repairing and replace�nt) and/or c�p1- tal equipment for a Yotal of 536,000 for the three (3) year period 1979. 1980 and 1981. Specific maintenance agreements Nill be devetoped mutually by both pariies before March 15, 1980 for this three (3) yte� time pertod. The form and amount of Lhe City's and �iskrtet's contributions slarting with 1982 and thereafter Nilt be detailed yearly tn a mein- tensnee agreement between the City and the Schoot Distriet. approred by Merch 15 each year.
