SILVER VIEW DEVE7APMENT � . � <br />MOUNDS VIEW� MINNESOTA � <br />PROPOSAL FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES � <br />January 7, 1961 <br />Having met and disc�xssed the project with Bruce Ander;on, Parks, <br />Recreation and Forestry Director, SAUNDERS-THALDEN 6 ASSOCIATES, <br />INC., proposes the following scope of work as a recommended pro- <br />cedure for the development of Silver View Park. <br />SCOPE OF PROJECT <br />Working with the Park and Recreation Commission and City Stafi, <br />SAUNDERS-THALDEN s ASSOCIATES, IRC., will provide the following <br />pro£essional services: <br />I. PROGRAM DEVEIAPMENT <br />A. Assist the City in developing a written program <br />of potential facilities £or the site based on <br />community needs and desires as established in the <br />City Wide Park System Master Plan and the Parks <br />and Open Space Survey alrea@y completed. This <br />program will define both current and projected <br />future needs. <br />II. ANALYSIS <br />A. Review available data related to: soils, hydrology,� <br />visual impact, topography, vegetation, drainage, <br />access, utilities, existing facilities and unique <br />characteristics of the site. <br />III. MASTER PLAN DEVELOPMENT <br />A. Based on the above city program and site�analysis:,. <br />prepare an initial park wncept plan indicating��� <br />general areas of various park facilities and ele- <br />ments for review by City Staff and the Parks and� <br />Recreation Commission at a public meeting�. . ��� <br />a. Assist City Staff with the coordination of two <br />public hearings on the initial concept plan. - <br />C. Based on the above approved wncept plan, pr�pare� � <br />a final master park plan showing both immediate��and-��� <br />future park development including: . <br />
