IF ' T <br /> PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION <br /> MINUTES <br /> Page 3 <br /> September 24 ,' 1981 <br /> • -- <br /> *HOCKEY AND The following rinks will have shelters and will be <br /> PLEASURE RINKS maintained in the 1981-82 season: <br /> *Hillview, hockey F, pleasure <br /> *Woodcrest , hockey $ pleasure <br /> *Lambert , hockey F, pleasure <br /> Greenfield, pleasure <br /> Groveland, pleasure <br /> Jerry Linke made a motion to rent 8 x 24 ' trailer buildings <br /> from Satellite for Greenfield and Groveland pleasure rinks <br /> and rent 8 ' x 32 ' trailer buildings for Hillview and <br /> Woodcrest hockey/pleasure rinks and to eliminate the Green- <br /> field hockey rink and increase the size of the pleasure <br /> rink and build a new permanent building at Lambert Park. <br /> 4111 Donna Bowman seconded the motion . Motion passed. <br /> 5 ayes <br /> 0 nayes <br /> Motion was made by Wayne Burmeister to reduce the hours <br /> daily at Greenfield and Groveland rinks and to keep a <br /> tally of attendance and times for future reference . <br /> Frank Silvis seconded the motion. Motion passed. <br /> 5 ayes <br /> 0 nayes <br /> Chairman Burmeister directed Staff to be flexible on <br /> hours at the discretion of the Parks and Recreation <br /> Staff. <br /> • <br /> Frank Silvis made a motion to recommend to the City <br /> Council a 32 ' (902 square foot) octagonal buildingto <br /> Q g <br /> be erected at Lambert Park using as much community <br /> assistance possible ; the building shall be comparable <br />
