There were four areas that <br /> experienced budget reductions: <br /> 1. Part time program instructors - $1 ,000 <br /> 2. Printing - City Newsletter - 1,000 <br /> 3. Overtime - Parks - 400 <br /> 4. Transfer from RecreationActivity- 5,000 <br /> Total Budgetary Reductions $7,400 <br /> YEAR END FORESTRY Staff distributed copies of the year end forestry report <br /> REPORT <br /> which outlines our 1981 program. <br /> The report dealt with four major areas : <br /> 1. Reforestation <br /> 2. Sanitation <br /> 111/1 <br /> 3. Insect and related tree disease damage <br /> 4. Review of Joint Powers Agreement <br /> A motion was made by Chairman Burmeister, seconded by <br /> Commissioner Silvis to accept the 1981 Forestry report. <br /> The motion passed unanimously. <br /> 5 ayes <br /> 0 nays <br /> NEW BUSINESS Chairman Burmeister indicated to staff that there were hay <br /> bales on the South end of the pond at Silver View Park <br /> which should be removed. Staff indicated that it would take <br /> care of this issue. <br /> ADJOURNMENT A motion was made by Commissioner Silvis, seconded by <br /> Commissioner Wermager to adjourn the meeting at 8:32 p.m. <br /> The motion passed unanimously. <br /> 5 ayes <br /> 111/1 Respectfully Submitted, 0 ayes <br /> Bruce K.
