Minutes <br /> Page two <br /> In addition, Program Supervisor Saarion discus <br /> the new program for teenagers which was a biking <br /> expedition for 9th - 11th graders offered in <br /> conjunction with Spokesongs which is a student <br /> hosteling organization . <br /> REVIEW OF JOINT The Mounds View City Council and staff entered <br /> PARK COMMISSION/ a lengthy discussion reviewing the joint meeting <br /> COUNCIL MEETING between the City Council and Parks and Recreation <br /> Commission on Thursday , January 27 , 1983 . <br /> Following the discussion between staff and the <br /> Park Commission , a motion was made by Chairperson <br /> Wayne Burmeister to direct staff to develop a <br /> plan of action including priorities for park <br /> development and an outline of goals for the estab- <br /> lishment of neighborhood park planning councils . <br /> The motion was seconded by Commissioner Frank <br /> Silvis and passed unanimously. 5 ayes <br /> 0 nayes <br /> ADJOURNMENT A motion was made by Commissioner Frank Silvis <br /> and seconded by Commissioner Cindy Wermager to <br /> adjourn the meeting at 8 : 35 p .m.
