The Park Commission responded to the nine initial questions and began establishing a preliminary phi- losophy for the distribution and dissemination oE park planning monies. The general concen5us of. the Park Commission was to use the Eund as a partial Eunding source for local neighborhood park development; to encouraye involvement of both monetary and inkintl services at the local neighborhood oc ycass root level. To that end, the Park Commission intlicated that priori.ties should be esCablished on both a short and long range basis with applica[ions being accepted a[ any[ime throughout the year.
