Staff did
indicate that a number of sma12 projects
had been approved, including drinking
fountains at four different sites, per-
manent outfield fences at City Hall, a
new puppet wagon truck, exercise equip-
ment, softball video tapes, and addi-
tional timbers for Random Park. Staff
further indicated that no additional
manpower would be employed in 1986 in
the City other than upgrading a half-
time accounting position ta a full-time
position and increasing the hour for
the forestry assistant. Commissioner
Long had some questions regarding the
advisory commissions account, and staff
indicated that this was the budget for
the "Festival in the Park", Council/
Commission training, City Appreciation
Dinner, and Cab1e T.V. Commission.
Staff reviewed a memorandum from Coun-
cilmember Haake indicating an interest
to work with Ramsey County and the DNR
to establish some type of aeration pro-
gram for Spring Lake. Staff indicated
that letters had been forwarded to both
Ramsey County and the DNR and that it
appears that a portable aeration system
would be employed in Spring Lake during
the 1985-86 winter.
"
