�.� <br />MEMO 7�D: Mounds View Parks and Recreation Commission <br />FROM: Staff <br />DATE: October 23, 1985 <br />RE; Spring Lake Park Update <br />Enclosed find a copy of the staf£ report that was forwarded to <br />the Mounds View City Council on OctQber 7, 1985 regarding the <br />feasibility of aerating Spring Lake. As can be noted in the <br />attached correspondence, we have received some extremely positive <br />comments from both DNR and Ramsey County regarding this project <br />and the Council reacted in the affirmative at their October 7 <br />meeting. <br />The major issue that the Park Commission will be addressing the <br />upcoming six months is the construction of a boat launch:on a <br />joint venture basis with the Cities of Fridley, Spring Lake Park, <br />and Anoka�and Ramsey Counties. 5taff has currently discusaed <br />this issue with representatives from each of the communities and <br />hope to have a meeting involving the Park Commissioners within <br />the next three weeks. <br />Should you have any questions regarding this issue, please feel <br />free to contact staff directly at 784-3055, ext. �20. <br />BKA/sll <br />Enclosures <br />
