<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 6132 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION HIRING STEVEN VACEK AS THE PUBLIC WORKS <br />MECHANIC <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View City Council has given direction to <br />hire a Public Works Mechanic; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the position was advertised and the City received <br />twenty-seven (27) applications; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Steven Vacek is qualified for the position and would <br />begin employment with the City on November 12, 2003; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Vacek will be a member of the Public Works <br />Collective Bargaining Unit, and as such, would be subject to the established job <br />classification system with regard to the pay scale as set forth in the Public Works <br />Labor Agreement, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Vacek qualifies for Level B pay scale based on the <br />criteria set forth by said Labor Agreement, which is currently established at <br />$16.83 per hour; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Vacek would be subject to a twelve month <br />probationary period and all other personnel policies as per the Public Works <br />Labor Agreement and the City's personnel manual. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City <br />Council does hereby approve hiring Steven Vacek as a Mechanic for the City of <br />Mounds View Public Works Department effective November 12, 2003. <br /> <br />Adopted this 10th day of November 2003. <br /> <br />~ <br />~~nKe, ~r! ; J <br />/ Y--:-/J L,:~ L,-L(L-~-.._---- <br />(ATTEST) / . / '-- .-fLr <br />Kurt Ulrich <br />City Administrator <br /> <br />(SEAL) <br />
