<br />. <br /> <br />,. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 6141 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />APPROVING THE DISPOSAL OF THREE PIECES OF KITCHEN EQUIPMENT <br />IN THE MOUNDS VIEW COMMUNITY CENTER <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City is the owner of the Mounds View Community Center <br />located at 5394 Edgewood Drive in the City of Mounds View, in which is located <br />a kitchen; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Creative Kids Child Care Center and The Mermaid utilize the <br />kitchen for food preparation and setup for meals; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City currently owns two Franklin stack ovens that are over <br />30 years old and have door and structural damage; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City currently owns a fryer that is over 30 years old and <br />appears to have a tank leak; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City has obtained an evaluation on November 17, 2003 of <br />these pieces of kitchen equipment from Miles Coyle of Coyle's Appliance <br />Service, Inc. from Minneapolis, Minnesota; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the evaluation indicates that parts would be difficult to find <br />and that the equipment would not be cost effective to repair; and; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, THAT the Mounds View City <br />Council does hereby approve the removal and disposal of three pieces of kitchen <br />equipment-the two Franklin stack ovens and the fryer. <br /> <br />Adopted this 24th day of November 2003. <br /> <br /> <br />(A TrEST) <br /> <br />J ,li e, Mayor Q <br /> <br />1(2-.- c:;: ! ~ <br /> <br />~=tlrich <br />City Administrator <br /> <br />(SEAL) <br />
