<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 6146 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RECOGNIZING CHANGING THE NAME OF THE PREMISE PERMIT HOLDER <br />FOR CHARITABLE GAMBLING AT JAKE'S SPORTS CAFE IN THE CITY OF <br />MOUNDS VIEW TO THE TWIN CITIES NORTH CHAMBER OF COMMERCE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Minnesota Gambling Control Board requires local units of <br />government to pass a resolution specifically approving or denying Premise <br />Permit Applications; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View approved on February 11, 2002 a <br />resolution to allow for the New Brighton-Mounds View Chamber of Commerce to <br />conduct charitable gambling at Jake's in the City of Mounds View; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the New Brighton-Mounds View Chamber of Commerce and <br />the Southern Anoka County Chamber of Commerce officially merged on July 23, <br />2002, and continued the charitable gambling operations at both Jake's locations; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the newly merged Chamber officially changed its name from <br />the New Brighton-Mounds View Chamber of Commerce to the Twin Cities North <br />Chamber of Commerce; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Twin Cities North Chamber of Commerce is in <br />compliance with all charitable gambling requirements of Ordinance 691, which <br />became effective March 9, 2002; and <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, THAT the Mounds View City <br />Council does hereby recognize the changing of the name of the premise permit <br />holder for charitable gambling at Jake's Sports Cafe in the City of Mounds View <br />to the Twin Cities North Chamber of Commerce. <br /> <br />Adopted this 8th day of December 2003. <br /> <br />~ <br />JerJ::y/rin~ , Mayor ..../' <br /> <br />// b"_-6~ 9- <br /> <br />Kurt Ulrich "7- <br />City Administrator <br /> <br />(ATTEST) <br /> <br />(SEAL) <br />
