10.5 Reserved for standards relating to separation and collection of organic waste at <br /> commercial properties. <br /> 11 Hauler Licensing and Requirements <br /> 11.1 Haulers collecting garbage, recyclables, bulky wastes, electronics, yard waste or non- <br /> recyclables or any combination thereof from residential areas, commercial <br /> establishments, multiple dwellings and/or manufactured home parks must be licensed <br /> by the City. <br /> 11.2 Conditions of License: Each license shall be applied for and may be issued, renewed, <br /> suspended or revoked under authority of Chapter 603 of the City Code, and each <br /> licensee shall comply with all applicable requirements of Chapter 603 and of these <br /> Standards. <br /> 11.3 Before a license is issued, the applicant shall file with the City Administrator <br /> evidence that the applicant has in effect public liability insurance for the hauler's <br /> business and for all vehicles as follows: <br /> (1) General liability in the following amounts: <br /> (a) Bodily injury, per occurrence, or combined single limit, $1,500,000.00. <br /> (b) Property damage, $500,000.00. <br /> (2) Auto liability in the following amounts: <br /> (a) Property damage or combined single limit, $500,000.00. <br /> (b) Bodily injury in the following amounts: <br /> i) Per person, $1,000,000.00. <br /> ii) Per occurrence, $5,000,000.00. <br /> (3) Workers Compensation Insurance as specified by the Minnesota Department of <br /> Occupational Health and Safety and federal law. <br /> 11.4 All licensees shall report to the City the amount of garbage, recyclable materials, <br /> bulky waste and yard waste collected. This shall be done monthly on a form provided <br /> by the City (Appendix B) and shall be accompanied by copies of all weight tickets for <br /> garbage, recyclable materials, bulky waste and yard waste collected in the City and <br /> processed or disposed of. <br /> 11.5 All licensees that haul recyclables shall report to the City those residential customers <br /> that do not participate, at least quarterly, in the recycling program.
