<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 6197 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION GRANING THE NEW BRIGHTON/MOUNDS VIEW ROTARY A ONE <br />DAY PERMIT TO CONDUCT CHARITABLE GAMBLING AT THE MERMAID <br />MOUNDS VIEW, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the New Brighton/Mounds View Rotary has requested that the <br />Council allow them to conduct charitable gambling at The Mermaid on April 30, 2004; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Gambling Control Board requires that the local unit of <br />government (city of county) pass a resolution specifically approving or denying requests <br />to conduct charitable gambling; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the New Brighton/Mounds View Rotary is in compliance with all <br />requirements of the Mounds Vie Municipal Code with regard to charitable gambling; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City of Mounds View to assist in the economic <br />prosperity of local business owners. <br /> <br />NOW, THREREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council <br />does hereby authorize the New Brighton/Mounds View Rotary to conduct charitable <br />gambling at The Mermaid. <br /> <br />Adopted this 23rd day of February, 2003. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br />~-6 kS) <br /> <br />Kurt Ulrich, City Administrator <br /> <br />(seal) <br />
