<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 6266 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />AUTHORIZING THE PREPARATION OF A PRELIMINARY FEASIBILITY <br />REPORT AND CONSULTANT SELECTION FOR THE WOODALE DRIVE <br />SEDIMENTATION POND PROJECT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the development of a feasibility report for a sedimentation <br />pond to be located south of Woodale Drive and just north of Spring Creek is <br />included in the City Local Water Management Plan at an estimated cost of <br />$15,000.00; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Rice Creek Watershed District is looking for a <br />commitment from the City to perform regional storm water treatment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the development of a feasibility report for the creation of this <br />pond is also included in the City's Capital Improvement Program scheduled for <br />the year 2004; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there are several engineering consultants within the City's <br />"consultant pool" from whom services could be obtained; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Staff recommends that the Council retain the services of the <br />engineering film of Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik, and Associates (BRAA) to <br />assist in the preparation of the preliminary engineering report and other aspects <br />of this project. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br /> <br />1. It is hereby authorized that the preliminary report for the Wood ale <br />Drive Pond Project be prepared. Said preliminary report shall <br />include an analysis as to whether the proposed improvements are <br />necessary, cost effective, and feasible. <br /> <br />2. The services of the engineering firm of Bonestroo, Rosene, <br />Anderlik, and Associates (BRAA) shall be retained to assist in the <br />preparation of the preliminary engineering report and other aspects <br />of this project, as directed by City Council. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />The estimated cost of the planning phase of this project is $15,000, <br />to be derived from the approved 2004 budget (Account No. 245- <br />4415-3030) Storm Water Fund for professional services. <br />
