Park decided to form a citizen taskforce to study the idea of <br /> • � .. <br /> naming County Road 10. Each city made appointments to the task force. The Mounds <br /> View •City Council appointed residents Helen Chambers and Joan Bosard and business <br /> ' 'O representative Jason Helgemoe from Western Bank. <br /> The task force met on February 29, March 21 and again on April 11, 2012, in <br /> conjunction with the Mounds View Business Council. The task force discussed its purpose, desired outcomes, <br /> anticipated duration and reviewed corridor background information and previous work efforts. After considering <br /> some guidelines for what the name should be or represent, numerous suggestions were made and subsequently, the <br /> task force voted for the name Northtown Boulevard. <br /> Businesses located along County Road 10 are invited to attend a meeting at Mounds View City Hall on Tuesday, <br /> July 24, 2012, at 7:30am to learn about the proposed naming of County Road 10 in Mounds View, Spring Lake Park <br /> and Blaine, MN. The City Councils of Mounds View, Spring Lake Park and Blaine support the name that the task <br /> force has proposed. To formalize the name change and approve a Joint Powers Agreement among the three cities, <br /> each city will need to adopt a resolution and forward it to Anoka and Ramsey Counties and MnDOT. <br /> • We look forward to seeing you at City Hall on July 24th at 7:30am!
